Yesterday evening we had a technical session with the Tam Tam Business Solution Group. Our goal for this evening was to create a Windows Messenger Bot that could answer questions send using Windows Messenger and Live Communications Server 2005. The challenge, in which each developer had to develop a part of the solution, was a showcase for Sharepoint integration. Way cool!

Many frustrations, hate and anti-Microsoft feelings when an Office document opens in Internet Explorer...again. You know it does, but you remember when you already clicked the document. Especially in Sharepoint, this happens all the time. Sounds familiar?

In the strange world of bits 'n bites we encountered a weird Sharepoint problem. On our WSS server, which contains over a hundred WSS sites in about 30 virtual servers, languages are mixed in the site settings...

Tam Tam was moving to another location which was a huge operation, I also got a phonecall from the travel agency with the question if I'd like to go 4 days earlier to the Canary Islands for free. Kind of difficult to make that decision...not. :) Next morning we were on the plane to Las Palmas, unable to make postings on my blog...
